In this role, you'll play a key part in a variety of design decisions, from defining System-on-Chip (SoC) pinouts and optimizing packaging to ensuring cost-effective manufacturing. You'll use your hands-on experience with system integration challenges to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead our system bring-up efforts. Your expertise in system debugging and your familiarity with lab equipment will be critical to your success.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in hardware design and development, with a focus on consumer electronics.\nProven track record of delivering successful platform reference designs.\nExperience with schematic capture and PCB design using tools like Cadence.\nStrong understanding of system power delivery, stackups, and RLC component selection.\nHands-on experience with chipset bring-up, system validation, and troubleshooting in a laboratory environment.\nAptitude for failure analysis (FA) and debugging system-level issues.\nTravel Requirement:\nA maximum of two trips to Asia may be required over a one year period.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.\n7+ years of experience in a related role.\nExperience leading socket-based Platform PCB design.\nExpertise in establishing Board-level Power Delivery Network (PDN) and Signal Integrity (SI) specifications.\nExperience with battery-powered, wireless, or embedded hardware.\nKnowledge of various buses and signals, including I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI, I2S, and USB.\nSalary Range\n$107,520.00 - $134,400.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.\nFurther, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
