This role ensures that all site operations-including fiber deployment, rack-and-stack activities, and large-scale fiber turnups-comply with local, state, federal, and client-specific regulatory requirements.\nReporting directly to the Regional EHS Manager, the Site Manager serves as a subject matter expert for onsite personnel, conducting regular risk assessments and providing functional leadership to ensure a zero-energy state and safe man-machine environments.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n1. Site-Level Program Execution\nRisk Management: Conduct regular site assessments to identify hazards in high-risk processes, such as 4th-level racking and electrical installations.\nCEHS Planning: Prepare and maintain location-specific EHS plans for new data center turnups and ongoing operations from initial planning through to execution.\n Electrical Safety: Enforce strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and verify zero-energy states to prevent electrical incidents.\n2. Compliance and Auditing\nInspections: Conduct monthly unannounced site inspections to ensure permanent audit readiness for both internal and client-led safety reviews.\n Incident Management: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all onsite accidents and high-potential near-misses, ensuring initial reports are submitted per client timelines. \n Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the onsite contact for regulatory inspections (e.g., OSHA) and client safety committees.\n3. Specialized Operations and Welfare\nHazardous operations: Oversee the management of \nMedical Surveillance: Coordinate mandatory fitness-for-duty assessments and routine health surveillance for technicians exposed to noise, night work, or lone working environments.\n4. Training and Mentorship\n Safety Instruction: Deliver specialized EHS training, including Laser Safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and Hand/Power Tool safety and ensure personnel have the appropriate external certifications. .\nToolbox Talks: Lead regular safety briefings, safety committee meetings and \"safety moment\" stand-downs to disseminate learnings from recent incidents.\nQualifications and Requirements\nProfessional Certifications\nRequired: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.\n Required: Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or OSHA 30-Hour (Construction or General Industry).\nPreferred: Certifications in First Aid/CPR and AED\nExperience and Skills\nIndustry Experience: 5+ years of EHS management experience within a data center or heavy construction environment. \nTechnical Proficiency: Experience using digital EHS management tools for data interpretation, reporting and recordkeeping. \nCommunication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex safety requirements to both frontline technical staff and program leadership.\nWorking Conditions\nEnvironment: Regular exposure to active construction zones, high-density data halls, and warehouse floors.\nPhysical Demands: Ability to perform site walks and inspections in industrial settings.\nSalary Range\n$72,960.00 - $115,200.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.\nFurther, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
