This role ensures that all site operations-including fiber deployment, rack-and-stack activities, and large-scale fiber turnups-comply with local, state, federal, and client-specific regulatory requirements.\nReporting directly to the Regional EHS Manager, the Site Manager serves as a subject matter expert for onsite personnel, conducting regular risk assessments and providing functional leadership to ensure a zero-energy state and safe man-machine environments.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n1. Site-Level Program Execution\nRisk Management: Conduct regular site assessments to identify hazards in high-risk processes, such as 4th-level racking and electrical installations.\n\nCEHS Planning: Prepare and maintain location-specific EHS plans for new data center turnups and ongoing operations from initial planning through to execution.\n\nElectrical Safety: Enforce strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and verify zero-energy states to prevent electrical incidents.\n\n2. Compliance and Auditing\nInspections: Conduct monthly unannounced site inspections to ensure permanent audit readiness for both internal and client-led safety reviews.\n\nIncident Management: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all onsite accidents and high-potential near-misses, ensuring initial reports are submitted per client timelines.\n\nRegulatory Liaison: Serve as the onsite contact for regulatory inspections (e.g., OSHA) and client safety committees.\n\n3. Specialized Operations and Welfare\nHazardous operations: Oversee the management of\n\nMedical Surveillance: Coordinate mandatory fitness-for-duty assessments and routine health surveillance for technicians exposed to noise, night work, or lone working environments.\n\n4.
