The role is tasked with collaborating with internal teams and assisting and analyzing data used for the maintenance of global software assets managed in the asset management tool.\nScope:\nPerform a variety of tasks in support of the Vendor Management team.\n\nCollaborate with internal teams and assist in the data collection, recording and maintenance of global software assets managed in the asset management tool.\n\nWork with internal customers and suppliers to resolve invoice and payment issues.\n\nConfirm proper contract and order data, data entry and reporting of assigned products and services.\n\nYour Roles and Responsibilities:\nPerform a variety of tasks in support of the Vendor Management team.\n\nCollaborate with internal teams and assist in the data collection, recording and maintenance of global software assets managed in the asset management tool.\n\nAnalyze, review and investigate inaccurate and/or missing information related to software assets.\n\nCreate and review purchase requisitions and other intake activities as assigned.\n\nWork with internal customers and suppliers to resolve invoice and payment issues.\n\nConfirm proper contract and order data, data entry and reporting of assigned products and services.\n\nPerform audits and surveys to collect and analyze usage data.\n\nReview new vendors and their products\n\nCommunicate product-related issues and concerns to vendors and stakeholders\n\nResearch purchase history, contracts, and approval information to update contract tracker.\n\nMaintain and update specific data points in SAM database\n\nObtain price quotations from vendors as assigned.\n\nAssist as needed in the tracking of leased equipment and/or hardware purchases.\n\nRequired Qualifications/Skills:\nAA Degree\n\nOrganized, analytical and thorough\n\nExcel at documenting issue, providing updates to management, the team and users\n\nUnderstanding of how to maintain an asset database\n\nHave 1-2 years of purchasing or buying experience with a focus on technology\n\nAre Experienced working with technical and non-technical team members.\n\nHave strong Excel skills; ability to create vLookups and Pivot tables\n\nAbility to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment\n\nAbility to work on projects and conduct research with little or no supervision.\n\nExperienced with Google Docs, Oracle, and Excel,\n\nExcellent Time Management Skills and ability to multitask\n\nStrong Customer Service Skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong analytical skills, business acumen and a capacity to dive deep to understand and record asset details.
