As a senior developer, this role leads specification design and code review with less oversight than junior peers, and works closely with the Solutions Architect on implementation approach.\nScope:\n- Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways\n- Seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of their specialty\n- Works on problems of a diverse scope\n- Receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instruction on new assignments\nYour Roles and Responsibilities:\n- Consults with the Solutions Architect, other developers, and end users to gather information about program intent, functions, features, data requirements, input/output requirements, internal and external checks and controls, and interfaces with other systems (including Power Platform and API-based integrations)\n- Designs and writes program specifications based on consultations with the Solutions Architect, other developers, and end users\n- Converts designs and specifications into computer code, using both low-code (Power Apps, Power Automate) and custom-coded (Python, SQL) approaches as appropriate\n- Responsibly uses AI-assisted coding tools to improve development velocity, in accordance with team guardrails for code quality and security\n- Compiles and builds code into programs and corrects errors detected during build\n- Creates test cases and runs tests (unit, integration, UAT) to find errors and confirm the program meets specifications\n- Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revises programs accordingly\n- Writes and maintains documentation of changes to code, programs, and specifications, including source control practices and dev/test/prod separation\n- Designs and codes layouts for onscreen user interfaces, reports/dashboards, and interfaces with other systems\n- Leads peer code review and reviews technical documentation written by others to confirm consistency with program operations\n- Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs\n- Revises programs for corrections, enhancements, or system environment changes\n- Owns requirements traceability and testing evidence for solutions supporting regulated (GxP) processes\n- Mentors junior developers on coding standards, testing practices, and use of AI-assisted tools\n- Trains end users or technical support staff to use and support programs\n- Other duties as required. This list is not meant to be a comprehensive inventory of all responsibilities assigned to this position\nRequired Qualifications/Skills:\n- Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) from a four-year college or university and 5 to 8 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience\n- Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise\n- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions\n- Strong experience with programming or computer science/engineering fundamentals\n- Strong familiarity with relational database schemas and SQL\n- Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)\n- Strong working knowledge of Python\n- Knowledge of using modern development tools, including source control (e.g., Git) and AI-assisted coding assistants\n- Knowledge of how to program a software application (Windows or web based) that interacts with a relational database\n- Knowledge of coding languages relevant to low-code and custom development\n- Familiarity with various Agile development methodologies\nPreferred Qualifications:\n- PL-400 (Microsoft Power Platform Developer) certification\n- Experience in regulated (GxP) development environments, including validated SDLC controls, traceability, and testing evidence\n- Experience mentoring junior developers\nPhysical Demand & Work Environment:\n- Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing\n- Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment\n- Must be able to use a computer\n- Must have the ability to communicate effectively\n- Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers\nSalary Range\n70,800.00 - 88,500.00 EUR (Annual)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.\nFurther, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
