They will also develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms.\nScope:\nResolves a wide range of issues in creative ways\nSeasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of their specialty\nWorks on problems of a diverse scope \nReceives little instruction on day to day work, general instruction on new assignments\nResponsibilities\nProvide operational support for Java-based applications and services running in production.\nTroubleshoot application, server, and infrastructure issues to quickly restore service.\nAnalyze logs, performance metrics, and system behavior to identify root causes.\nSupport Linux-based server environments and application infrastructure.\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.\nCollaborate with software engineers, DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams.\nParticipate in incident response, root cause analysis, and production support activities.\nMonitor application health, system performance, and availability.\nDocument operational procedures and troubleshooting guides.\nRecommend improvements to system reliability, scalability, and automation.\nRequired Qualifications/Skills:\nBachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 5 to 8 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience \nExpert-level experience supporting and troubleshooting Java applications.\nStrong knowledge of Linux server administration.\nExperience supporting production environments with high availability requirements.\nExperience with automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or similar.\nProficiency in Python scripting.\nWorking knowledge of Go (Golang).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication skills.\nExperience working with various development programs\nAbility to quickly learn customer support processes, tools and techniques\nUnderstanding of how to configure third-party software components and technologies \nAbility to perform root cause analysis of network, operating system, and other issues \nAbility to collaborate and work remotely including use of communication tools\nAbility to multi-task and self-organize including prioritization of activities\nExperience using monitoring systems \nAttention to detail \nNice to have Qualifications\nExperience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\nKubernetes and Docker experience.\nFamiliarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or New Relic.\nExperience supporting CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with REST APIs and microservices.\nExperience with Git and version control.\nPhysical Demand & Work Environment:\nMust have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing\nMust have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment\nMust be able to use a computer\nMust have the ability to communicate effectively \nSome positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers\nSalary Range\n$114,000.00 - $180,000.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.\nFurther, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
