of\nsolution architecture as a specialty\n- Works on problems of diverse scope spanning custom development,\nlow-code platforms, data pipelines, and AI-enabled solutions\n- Receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instruction on\nnew assignments\nYour Roles and Responsibilities:\n- Define end-to-end technical architecture for custom and configured\napplications, aligning solutions to business needs and enterprise standards\n- Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions and govern implementation quality\nacross the solution development team\n- Own architecture standards and participate in Architecture Review\nBoard (ARB) governance\n- Work with stakeholders (leadership and subject matter experts) to\nbuild a holistic view of organizational strategy, processes, information,\nand IT assets\n- Ensure alignment between the enterprise and its IT investments,\nparticularly across the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power\nBI), custom scripting (Python, SQL), and data pipeline/schema design\n- Guide responsible use of AI-assisted coding tools and oversee\narchitecture for custom LLMs, business-facing agents/GPTs, and agentic\nworkflows\n- Translate business narratives into technical models and documented\narchitectural views showing how current and future needs will be met in an\nefficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner\n- Enforce secure coding and secrets management standards (centralized\nsecret managers, least-privilege access, credential rotation) across the\ndevelopment team\n- Ensure adherence to SDLC controls appropriate to regulated (GxP)\nenvironments, including requirements traceability, testing evidence, and\nrelease documentation\n- Mentor and provide technical direction to solution developers and\nengineers\n- Other duties as required; this list is not a comprehensive inventory\nof all responsibilities assigned to this position\nRequired Qualifications/Skills:\n- Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) from a four-year college or university\nand 7 to 15+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of\neducation and experience\n- Demonstrated experience architecting solutions on the Microsoft Power\nPlatform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) alongside custom\ndevelopment (Python, SQL, APIs)\n- Working knowledge of AI/LLM-based solution design, including agentic\nworkflows and custom GPT/business agent development\n- Networks with senior internal and external personnel in the\narchitecture and solution development community\n- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for\nobtaining solutions\n- Understands the connections among functional requirements,\nnon-functional requirements, and technical choices to derive a sound\nsolution architecture\n- Experience operating in regulated environments with validated SDLC\ncontrols (traceability, testing evidence, peer review) is strongly preferred\n- Ability to take direction from leadership, work independently, and be\nself-motivated\n- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\n- TOGAF certification\n- Azure or AWS Architect certification\n- Experience with GxP-regulated or life sciences/clinical research\nenvironments\n- Experience with secure coding practices and secrets management tooling\n(e.g., Azure Key Vault, AWS
