ASTRI has transferred about 1,600 technologies to the industries and has been granted close to 1,200 patents in the Mainland, the United States, and other countries.\nTo support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):\nProjects Description:\nFor further details, please refer to ART/403CP - Configurable Terminal for Enabling Non-Terrestrial Networks Radio Access.\nNumber of opening(s):\n1\nJob Responsibilities:\nParticipate and contribute to physical layer (PHY) algorithm design and system verifications in ASTRI's 5G/6G R&D projects. Engage in activities include the followings:Perform theoretical analysis\nConduct computer-aided simulation / analysis\nParticipate in design and review sessions\nDesign and develop standard compliance verification systems\nContribute to ASTRI's patent portfolio\nProvide system support for DSP and FPGA implementation\nProvide system support for protocol stack integration\nTrack and analyze evolvement of latest standard (e.g. 5G and beyond, V2X, IoT, unlicensed and shared spectrum)\nPhysical layer (PHY) algorithm design and performance simulations\nProvide technical contribution towards proprietary or public air interface specifications\n\nJob Requirements:\nGraduate with a Bachelor, Master or a PhD degree in STEM-related disciplines such as Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering and Mathematics or relevant disciplines is welcome to apply.\nSuccessfully completed the undergraduate and/or postgraduate program.\nExperience in MATLAB/C/C++ programming language is a plus.\nExperience with real-time software programming and multi-threaded programming is a plus.\nExperience in wireless physical layer signal process is a plus.\nFamiliar with at least one modern wireless communication system, such as LTE, 5G and etc is a plus.\nExperience with image processing and machine learning is a plus.\nLive ASTRI values.\nApplication\nThe appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary.
