PECO-Controls are well established temperature control devices designed for applications where high quality is a must, such as the hospitality industry, commercial cooking, and other critical applications.\n We are looking for an experiencedElectrical Engineer II to join our team. In this role you will work on product development and support of various programs. You will need to work independently to apply a high degree of creative ability, engineering skill and judgement in applying engineering principles. \nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform the conceptual and detail design of analog circuits, circuits supporting digital systems, including power supply design and FPGA and microcontroller ICs. Design complex electronic circuit assemblies that minimize RF emissions and associated issues, is desired.\nPrepare designs for review, analysis, and testing to ensure design accuracy and appropriateness to requirements.\nManage PCB/PCBA configuration, part number assignments, BOMs in ERP system, version control, and component libraries.\nOperate standard lab equipment to perform design verification and circuit testing.\nPrepare and present technical information at design reviews.\nWork with other engineering groups, either as a resource or as a technical lead for other engineering team members.\nAct as a technical liaison to other functional groups as required.\nSupport technical inquiries from Aerospace and Commercial customers, channel partners, and sales organizations.\nPrepare qualification test plans, procedures, and reports. Coordinate with customers to obtain approval of test documents.\nSupport Electrical and Environmental Test Program(s) as required to support program requirements.\n\nDesired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nRequires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering plus five years of related experience.\nHands on product development experience, including creating documentation, BOM management, change management, and hand off to production and manufacturing.\nAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees and/or the public.\nAerospace experience (DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, etc.) is desired by not required.\nExperience with serial communication protocols (I2C, UART, etc.), is desired.\nAbility to use engineering software tools, including OrCad PCB Designer (Capture and Allegro), Altium Designer, and LTSpice package(s).\nStrong computer skills including proficiency with MS Office applications.\nVersion control experience is desired (Git, SVM, PDM, etc.).\nFamiliarity with CI/CD processes for software.\nAbility to handle a fast-paced multi-disciplined environment with quickly changing priorities and requirements.\nExcellent problem-solving skills.\nWritten and verbal communication skills.\nCustomer focused.\nTeam Player.\n\nEmployment Eligibility Requirements:\nThis position may involve access to items subject to U.S. export-control laws.
