We also offer customized graphical user interfaces accessible on our touchscreens, allowing seamless and intuitive control of the IFE/CMS system.\nWhile this role is primarily onsite at our Kent office, we offer flexible work day start and end times, and additional options to help you maintain work life balance - choose between five-8 hour days or four-9 hour days with a half day Friday.\nSummary\nReporting to the Software Manager, the candidate will work with Systems and Software Engineers to develop both manual and automated test plans to ensure the quality, functionality and reliability of VIP/VVIP In Flight Entertainment and Cabin Management Systems (IFE/CMS).\nResponsibilites\nRead technical specs to configure and hookup complex systems in lab environment\nTroubleshooting, debugging, testing existing software\nTest system functionality and write up defects in JIRA\nVerification of software functionality based on tests provided by Software Developer\nVerification of Software fixes/closing out of JIRAs\nPython Automation scripting for system verification\nWrite Manual Test Procedures based on requirements and verify in SIL\nWrite Automated Test Procedures based on requirements and verify in SIL\nWrite Manual and Automated test procedures for Production\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience\nBS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering degree.\n5+ years in system testing preferably developing test automation for network-based systems\nCompetencies/Skills\nCommunication Proficient\nCustomer/Client Focus\nEthical Conduct\nTime Management\nCollaboration Skills\nOrganizational Skills\nPersonal Effectiveness/Credibility\nPhysical\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear.
