To support our growing international customer base, we are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Technical Support Team.\nPosition Summary/Objective\nThe Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of industrial printing equipment at customer sites worldwide. This role requires a combination of mechanical, electrical, and digital printing knowledge, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in industrial environments. The position involves international travel and direct interaction with customers, partners, and internal engineering teams.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nInstall, commission, and configure industrial digital printing systems at customer facilities.\nDiagnose and resolve technical issues related to printing systems, electronics, automation, and mechanical components.\nPerform preventive maintenance and system upgrades.\nTroubleshoot electrical systems and read electrical schematics\nSupport customers remotely when possible and onsite when required\nTrain customers and operators on machine operation and maintenance\nCollaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical problems\nDocument service activities and technical reports\nEnsure high customer satisfaction through professional and efficient support.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.\nRequired Education and Experience\nTechnical degree or professional training in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)\nExperience with industrial equipment, printing systems, or automated production machinery.\nAbility to read and understand electrical schematics.\nBasic knowledge of Electronics, Automation systems, Industrial electrical systems\nUnderstanding of digital printing technologies is a strong advantage\nHands-on troubleshooting skills in industrial environments\nFluency in Portuguese and English is Mandatory (written & spoken).\nAdditional Preferred Skills, Experience, and Certifications\nAdditional language proficiency in French, German, and/or Spanish a strong advantage\nPhysical Requirements\nThis position requires long periods of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, and bending. It requires manual dexterity and visual acuity. The role requires the ability to lift to 25lbs (11.34kg) regularly and up to 50lbs (22.68kg) occasionally.\nSpecial Working Conditions / Travel Requirements\nThis job requires heavy travel including international travel throughout EMEA and occasional intercontinental travel to North America. Travel is typically Monday through Friday, but will vary based on business needs.
