At Asurint, each member of our team plays and integral part as we work together to drive informed decisions through advanced screening solutions for fair and safe workplaces and communities.\nSummary\nThe Manager, Data Acquisition is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Criminal and Housing Data Acquisition teams, overseeing the acquisition methods, quality, and performance of criminal, housing, sanctions and other public record sources. This role also provides leadership and operational guidance to team members while partnering with the Director, Data Acquisition to expand data coverage, drive process improvement, and ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality data acquisition operations.\nResponsibilities\nSupervises employees, provides direction, coaches, trains and develops, hires, and manages performance to organization goals and expectations.\nManages team resources effectively and efficiently to support operational objectives and departmental priorities; maintains and understanding of company strategy, products, clients, and industry trends.\nManages vendors and outside service providers of bulk data effectively; sets expectations and holds them accountable.\nMonitors team processes to yield low cost, high quality, compliant results.\nForecasts resource needs based on volume fluctuations by monitoring course list pipeline and adjusting resources accordingly.\nDevelops and enhances team KPIs to ensure high performance to standards.\nCreates team-specific policies appropriate for the successful operation of the team.\nDevelops training initiatives based on data from quality reviews to ensure teams are properly educated on processes.\nOversees department quality audits to measure the effectiveness of programs and procedures.\nRecommends process improvements related to quality and onboarding that result in increased operational efficiency. \nTracks trends and reports to leadership on key findings.\nPrepares reports and statistics related to team output and current activities.\nActs as escalation point and subject matter expert for tactical resolution of escalated data issues to ensure issues are validated and resolved.\nCompletes special projects as needed.\nOther duties as required.\nRequirements\nExperience with relationship database systems including SQL Server is required.\nExperience with Web transportation tools (XML and HTML) is required.\nExperience using reporting tools and data sets to analyze and report data is required.\nExperience with the life cycle of criminal records and standards needed to report them is required.\nExperience with the legal/court system is preferred.\nExperience with background screening is preferred.\nProficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required. Relevant business management systems such as general ledger, HRIS, CRM, etc. is preferred. Salesforce is preferred.\nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.\nCertifications or licensure: If you do any work-related driving while at Asurint, a driver’s license and ability to maintain a driving record that is satisfactory to the company’s liability insurance carrier is required.\nYears of relevant experience: 5 to 7 years is preferred.\nYears of experience supervising: 2 to 5 years is preferred.\nWorking Conditions\nThe work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of offices, including the need for general safe workplace practices with office equipment and computers, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.\nThis position is performed remotely within the United States or in an office setting in the Cleveland, Ohio headquarters, although off-site meetings in various settings may occur.\nInside Asurint’s office environment, the noise level is usually quiet to moderate.\nIn a remote setting, the employee is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment, for arranging the off-site workspace in an ergonomically sound manner, and for maintaining standard Internet speeds in order to work effectively. \nIn a remote setting, the employee is required to ensure that all equipment and records that are the property of Asurint but have been relocated to the off-site workplace, are maintained in a safe and secure manner and are used only for business purposes. \nThe schedule is generally normal Eastern Time Zone business hours (unless otherwise communicated based on position or working location), although the employee may be required to perform work, attend meetings and events before or after normal workings hours, and occasionally on weekends and evenings. \nSome travel by personal automobile and a valid driver’s license may be required.
