Your uniqueness is an asset!\n💻 Your Role\nWe are looking for an experienced Rust engineer to work closely with Serge, our CTO and co-founder, on the technical direction of our software. You would help lead the engineering team, make and explain architectural decisions, and remain deeply involved in implementation. It is a hands-on position, which will require implementing parts of the code yourself.\nHow you will help us:\nGuide the technical work of a growing engineering team through design discussions, code reviews and direct collaboration;\n\nDesign and expand our real-time, low-latency, auto-parallelizing NeXosim simulation framework;\n\nDevelop the NeXosim software ecosystem with front-ends and enterprise tools;\n\nChoose and evolve our software stack;\n\nTake ownership of API design;\n\nWork with the CTO and the Project Manager;\n\nEstablish best practices for code review and CI/CD.\n\n👱 This is You\nSignificant professional experience designing and building APIs and complex software, including substantial recent hands-on programming.\n\nExperience providing technical leadership to other software engineers.\n\nStrong proresexperience with concurrent and asynchronous programming.\n\nGood judgement about software architecture: knowing how to build orthogonal, simple, yet efficient APIs.\n\nClear written and spoken English.\n\nStrong opinions, weakly held: you convince through dialogue and embrace technical debate; owning and admitting mistakes is a feature, not a bug.\n\nYou lead by example, with tolerance and respect towards other people. This is important to us.\n\n✨ Useful, but not required\nExperience with simulation software, developer tools, embedded systems or hardware-in-the-loop testing. Previous work in space, aerospace, automotive, robotics or another field involving complex physical systems.\n\nExperience with graphical user interface development.\n\nYou would join a small team where people have room to influence the direction of the software and are expected to help each other outside rigid job descriptions. We do not expect you to arrive knowing spacecraft engineering.
