Overview : \n\nWe are looking for an experienced Lead .NET Developer with 8 - 10 years of hands-on software development experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modernizing and upgrading existing applications, particularly migrating legacy .NET applications to .NET 8 and .NET 10.\n\nThe role involves working on brownfield projects, enhancing existing systems, improving application performance, and supporting deployments across on-premises and cloud environments.\n\nThe candidate should have practical experience with Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using C#, .NET, and related technologies.\n\n- Upgrade and modernize existing .NET applications, including migration to .NET 8 and .NET 10.\n\n- Analyze legacy codebases, identify technical dependencies, and implement modernization strategies.\n\n- Work on brownfield projects involving existing applications, integrations, and complex codebases.\n\n- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices.\n\n- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.\n\n- Develop and optimize SQL queries and work with relational databases as required.\n\n- Deploy and support applications across on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.\n\n- Work with Microsoft Azure services for application hosting, configuration, monitoring, and deployment.\n\n- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated build and release processes using DevOps tools.\n\n- Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.\n\nTechnical Skills : \n\n- 8 - 10 years of overall software development experience.\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.\n\n- Demonstrated experience in .NET application upgrades and modernization.\n\n- Experience working on brownfield development projects.\n\n- Exposure to Azure, DevOps, CI/CD, and hybrid deployment environments.\n\n- Ability to work independently as an Individual Contributor (IC).\n\nTechnical Competencies : \n\n- C# and .NET : Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET Core, and modern .NET development.\n\n- .NET Upgradation : Practical experience upgrading existing applications to .NET 8 and/or .NET 10, including dependency compatibility, breaking changes, and application modernization.\n\n- Brownfield Development : Experience working with legacy applications, understanding existing codebases, and implementing enhancements without disrupting existing functionality.\n\n- Azure : Hands-on experience deploying or supporting .NET applications on Microsoft Azure.\n\n- DevOps and CI/CD : Experience with build and release pipelines, automated deployments, and version control using tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.\n\n- Deployment : Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications in both on-premises and cloud environments.\n\n- SQL : Good understanding of SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and query optimization.\n\n- Coding and Problem-Solving : Strong programming fundamentals, debugging skills, and the ability to write
