The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server, ETL development, and cloud-based data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks. The role also requires hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX development, and dimensional data modeling to support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives. This position requires a proactive mindset and a willingness to work with legacy SSIS solutions while actively contributing to modern data platform strategies.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain robust ETL workflows using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.\nWrite complex, optimized SQL Server queries for data transformation, analysis, and reporting.\nPerform data modeling, integration, and warehousing in support of enterprise analytics initiatives.\nSupport and enhance existing SSIS packages; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to older ETL pipelines.\nDevelop, optimize, and publish dashboards and reports using Power BI.\nCreate and maintain advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, calculated tables, KPIs, and time-intelligence calculations to support business reporting requirements.\nDesign semantic models and optimize Power BI datasets for performance, scalability, and usability.\nImplement data quality checks and validation routines to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including BI developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions.\nContribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and secure data pipelines.\nDocument technical designs, solutions, and processes as per organizational standards.\nTroubleshoot and optimize DAX queries, report performance, and data refresh processes within the Power BI ecosystem.\n\nRequired Skills\n\n8-12 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and writing complex T-SQL queries.\nStrong ETL development experience using SSIS and Azure Data Factory.\nExperience with Azure Databricks for big data processing and integration.\nWillingness and capability to work with and improve legacy SSIS-based solutions.\nStrong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.\nProficiency in Power BI for data visualization, dashboard development, and reporting.\nStrong hands-on experience in writing complex DAX measures, calculated columns, calculated tables, KPIs, and time-intelligence functions.\nExperience with Power BI data modeling, semantic models, row-level security (RLS), and performance optimization.\nStrong background in data quality, cleansing, validation, and auditing.\nExperience with the Microsoft technology stack (Azure, SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, etc.).\nExperience working with business stakeholders to develop analytical solutions and executive dashboards using Power BI and DAX.\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nExperience with Power BI Premium/Fabric environments.\nKnowledge of SSAS Tabular Models and advanced DAX optimization techniques.\nExposure to Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and modern cloud analytics platforms.\nMicrosoft Azure or Power BI certifications are a plus.\nThis addition makes DAX a clearly evaluated competency rather than an implied Power BI skill, helping attract stronger BI/Data Engineering candidates with reporting and analytics expertise.\n\nAbout IGT Solutions:\n\nAbout Atain:\n\n(http://www.atain.com)\nAtain is an enterprise orchestration partner that aligns people, processes, and platforms with AI to redefine work and deliver assured outcomes.
