The ideal candidate brings an active, portable book of business and existing relationships with aerospace and heavy industrial OEMs. Key Responsibilities\nDevelop and grow new business within custom precision machining and CNC fabrication \n\nLeverage and expand an existing book of business across aerospace and heavy industrial OEMs \n\nInterface directly with client engineering and procurement teams to scope, quote, and secure custom manufacturing runs \n\nManage the full sales cycle from prospecting through quoting, negotiation, and close \n\nPrioritize high-margin, custom production opportunities \n\nBuild long-term relationships that drive repeat and recurring manufacturing volume \n\nPartner with internal engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure quotes are accurate and deliverable \n\nPreferred\nExisting relationships with Midwest OEMs and designers/engineers \n\nFamiliarity with milling, turning, welding, assembly, and reverse engineering processes \n\nComfort with prototyping-through-production sales cycles \n\nRequirements\n\nProven commercial growth / technical sales experience within precision machining, CNC fabrication, or custom manufacturing (target ~10+ years) \n\nActive, portable book of business with current OEM relationships \n\nExperience selling into aerospace and/or heavy industrial OEMs \n\nStrong technical aptitude, able to interface
