The Consultant Construction Program Manager will help transform asset strategies into executable capital programs, ensuring investments are prioritized, coordinated, and delivered in a manner that maximizes asset reliability, operational effectiveness, and long-term value.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nWhat You Will Do\nAs the Consultant Construction Program Manager, you will play a key role in the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of a long-term Asset Renewal Program, supporting the development and delivery of a rolling 10-year capital investment strategy. This position serves as a critical link between engineering, construction, operations, asset management, and leadership teams to ensure projects are prioritized, scoped, and delivered in alignment with organizational objectives, asset health requirements, and financial targets.\nLead coordination and integration activities associated with a multi-year Asset Renewal Program and 10-year capital planning cycle.\nFacilitate development of strategic program roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, and project sequencing plans to optimize asset performance, reliability, and lifecycle value.\nCollaborate with engineering, construction, operations, supply chain, and finance stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and advance asset renewal opportunities.\nSupport portfolio governance processes, including project screening, risk assessment, funding justification, and executive reporting.\nMonitor program performance and provide recommendations to address schedule, budget, resource, and execution risks.\nDevelop and maintain program-level schedules, dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools to track progress against business objectives.\nCoordinate planning activities across multiple projects to identify interdependencies, resource constraints, and opportunities for efficiency.\nFacilitate workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities to align priorities and drive decision-making.\nSupport development of business cases, capital investment plans, and long-range budget forecasts.\nEnsure program execution strategies incorporate constructability, resource availability, outage coordination, environmental considerations, and regulatory requirements.\nIdentify continuous improvement opportunities and implement best practices for program and portfolio management.\nWhat you will bring\nWe are looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented program delivery professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, coordinating with stakeholder groups, and maintaining momentum in dynamic project environments.\n10+ years of experience in project management, program management, construction management, utilities, energy, infrastructure, or related capital project roles.\nExperience supporting utility, transmission, energy infrastructure, EPC/EPCM, engineering consulting, construction, regulated capital project, or heavy civil environments.\nDemonstrated success managing programs or project portfolios with significant budget, schedule, stakeholder, and risk complexity.\nExperience supporting transmission line, substation, greenfield, rebuild, network upgrade, grid expansion, or other major infrastructure projects.\nStrong project controls, forecasting, financial management, documentation, and risk management capabilities.\nAbility to coordinate work across a large portfolio and develop strategic delivery options.\n Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain complex project information to a range of audiences.\n Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, equivalent experience, or a related field required.\nMaster's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred.\nPMP certification preferred.
