However, this role is not 100% remote and would require relocation to Wisconsin.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nWhat You'll Do\nAs ATC's Public Engagement Program Manager, you'll lead integrated communication and stakeholder engagement strategies that strengthen ATC's reputation, establish social media followership and engagement, support transmission infrastructure initiatives, and foster meaningful dialogue with diverse audiences.\nLead public engagement strategy\nDevelop, enhance and execute comprehensive public engagement programs aligned with ATC's business priorities and infrastructure initiatives.\nCreate communication strategies that support project development, approvals, construction, and long-term stakeholder relationships.\nHelp communities understand the value of transmission infrastructure investments and their role in maintaining a reliable electric grid.\nDrive digital communications excellence\nOversee and optimize ATC's digital communications ecosystem, including websites, social media platforms, and digital engagement channels.\nDevelop integrated digital campaigns that increase stakeholder awareness and engagement.\nEnsure communication channels meet accessibility standards and deliver exceptional user experiences.\nCreate compelling content\nDevelop strategic content that informs, educates, and inspires diverse audiences.\nTranslate complex technical, regulatory, and industry topics into clear, engaging messages.\nLead editorial planning and content development across multiple platforms, including articles, videos, infographics, presentations, and stakeholder-facing materials.\nStrengthen stakeholder relationships\nSupport engagement efforts with communities, customers, policymakers, regulators, industry organizations, and other key stakeholders.\nDevelop communication programs that enhance transparency and trust.\nAssist with issue management communications and reputation-building initiatives.\nMeasure impact and drive improvement\nUse analytics, engagement data, and performance metrics to evaluate communication effectiveness.\nBuild dashboards, reporting frameworks, and scorecards to guide decision-making.\nContinuously improve strategies based on measurable results and audience insights.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nWe're looking for a collaborative communications professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and enjoys building relationships as much as creating impactful content.\nExperience developing and executing digital communication strategies\nStrong content creation, storytelling, and editorial planning expertise\nExperience managing website content strategy, and digital platforms\nExperience, including demonstrated success, establishing a social media strategy, followership, and engagement\nA track record of communicating complex information in clear and engaging ways\nStrong stakeholder engagement, community relations, or public affairs experience\nExperience using communication metrics and analytics to inform strategy\nAbility to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams\nExceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills\nBachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, Political Science, Public Affairs, or a related field.\nThe Impact You'll Make\nSuccess in this role means more than delivering communications.
