In this highly visible leadership role, you'll drive enterprise-wide standards, quality assurance practices, onboarding, training, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact how ATC delivers critical infrastructure projects.\nThis is an opportunity for a seasoned project delivery professional who is ready to move beyond managing individual projects and instead influence how an entire organization plans, executes, learns, and improves.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nWhy This Role Matters\nSuccess in this position is measured by the organization's ability to execute projects more consistently, effectively, and efficiently through stronger standards, improved quality, enhanced learning programs, and increased project management capability.\nYou'll serve as a trusted advisor, quality champion, standards owner, mentor, and organizational change leader-helping project managers across ATC deliver better outcomes for the communities we serve.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead the development, maintenance, and governance of project management standards, processes, and procedures.\nDrive quality assurance efforts and improve the consistency of project deliverables across the organization.\nDevelop and enhance onboarding programs, learning pathways, and competency development initiatives for project management professionals.\nPartner with leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities for organizational improvement and capability building.\nFacilitate lessons learned, peer reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen project execution.\nInfluence project management practices across multiple functions without direct authority.\nHelp shape the future of project management excellence at ATC through training, coaching, governance, and knowledge management.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field.\n10+ years of progressively responsible experience in utility, construction, engineering, infrastructure, program management, or related environments.\nDemonstrated experience leading complex transmission, substation, capital construction, or infrastructure programs.\nExperience developing standards, governance frameworks, procedures, or organizational processes.\nExperience mentoring, coaching, or developing project professionals.\nExperience driving continuous improvement and organizational change initiatives.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification.\nExperience with Learning Management Systems, particularly Brightspace.\nExperience developing training curricula, onboarding programs, or competency frameworks.\nWhy ATC\nAt ATC, you'll join a mission-driven organization dedicated to reliably powering communities and enabling the energy future. However, this is not a 100% remote position and would require relocation to Wisconsin.\nThe targeted base pay for this position is $171,600 to $200,200 annually.* Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more.\n*The pay range is a general guideline.
