Other duties may be assigned.\nProduct/Model PCP (Process Control Plan) development and maintenance.\nFacilitate cross-functional Preventative & Corrective action plans based on internal and external quality results. (Yield, Warranty and or customer PPM) failure analysis on customer returns to ensure quick turnaround time and responsiveness. \nMentor cross-functional teams (Process/Product Improvement teams) teams for effective “root cause” analysis, corrective and preventative action. This position will include the training of other groups on a routine basis.\nCoordination of customer visits.\nQA portion of APQP (PPAP) on product launches.\nResolving critical issues/situations ensuring that they are handled correctly and within current policy/procedure guide lines.\nQuality representative in Lean activities.\nOther duties and special projects as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A good combination of education and experience is acceptable. Candidate should possess basic knowledge in the manufacturing/processing of electrical/mechanical devices. MUST BE EXPERIENCED IN AUTOMOTIVE/TS-16949 & ISO-9000 CUSTOMER/SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPS.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Excellent oral and written communication skills.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. This candidate should be able to determine the difference between a critical & general issue and gage priorities based on that assessment in a timely manner.\nCOMPUTER SKILLS\nComputer literate with a working knowledge of software such as Word, Excel, Access etc.\nKNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES\nAble to maintain a high technical knowledge of process control, and capability. Excellent understanding of mechanical material processing. Able to effectively coach/mentor and lead a team professional team. Able to plan, direct and delegate work to others. Able to direct and handle several different functions at the same time. Strong analytical and statistical skills. Technical writing skills will be important.
