As the nation's premier tire distributor, ATD’s coast-to-coast distribution network provides approximately 80,000 customers across the U.S. and Canada with rapid and frequent delivery of high quality tires, custom wheels and shop supplies.\nPosition Description:\nThe Procure to Pay Coordinator manages escalated AP invoice and National Accounts disputes. This role involves proactive review of departmental reports to identify process failures, collaboration with IT partners for resolution, and building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders through participation in supplier meetings.Key Responsibilities\nAssist in formal reconciliation of vendor statements to general ledger accounts and review Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) monthly, coordinating resolution with team leaders.\nAssist with testing and implementation of systems and process improvements.\nCollaborate across functions to promote best practices in finance and accounting processes.\nConduct monthly reviews of vendor statements to ensure invoices are paid according to due dates and follow up on past due invoices and credit memos to expedite payments.\nCoordinate and provide assistance with year-end closing efforts, including audit schedules and tasks related to the year-end financial audit as requested by independent auditors.\nMaintain and ensure appropriate Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) procedures and controls, including accurate processing of customer credit memos and G/L account distributions.\nSupport the Center of Excellence as the first point of escalation for problem resolution.\nTroubleshoot pricing and quantity variances on vendor invoices, initiate claims with vendors for pricing discrepancies, and approve short payments for quantity variances as needed.\n CompetenciesAction Planning - The ability to review and evaluate recommendations and requirements and to develop appropriate plans or deliver actions required. \nAction-Oriented - Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. \nBalances Stakeholders - Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. \nCosting and Budgeting - Awareness of costing, budgeting and finance concepts and the ability and skill to apply to related processes and procedures. \nData Collection and Analysis - The ability and skill to determine and analyze trends from data that is collected to assist in compiling reports that will help in decision-making including proficient use of aligned software (e.g., Tableau, etc) \nData Control - Ability and skill to acquire, organize, protect and process data in order to fulfill business objectives. \nDatabase User Interfaces and Queries - Ability to create and run queries and interact with various database interfaces and query languages. \nInstills Trust - Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity. \nNimble Learning - Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder. \nPolicy & Procedures - The ability and skill to monitor, interpret and understand policies and procedures and ensure their alignment with organizational strategies and work objectives. \nReview and Reporting - The ability and skill to create reports, and review reports created by others, for various audiences as relevant, in a lucid and effective manner, keeping in mind the purpose of reports. \nVerbal Communication - Ability to express ideas, request actions, formulate plans, & policies by means of clear and effective verbal communications. \nQualifications\nHigh School or GED degree \n2-4 years of related experience preferredSkills\nBalances Stakeholders\nDecision Quality\nCosting and Budgeting\nData Collection and Analysis\nData Control\nDatabase User Interfaces and Queries\nEnsures Accountability\nInstills Trust\nNimble Learning\nPlans & Aligns\nPolicy & Procedures\nOptimizes Work Processes\nReview and Reporting\nSituational Adaptability\nTech Savvy\nVerbal Communication\nAction Planning\nFinancial Acumen\nPhysical Demands/Working ConditionsPhysical Demands Category: Office\nPhysical Demands/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:\nPhysical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
