Compile stock records for stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nEnsures orderly distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution.\nContributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.\nMaintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.\nLocates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders, supply requests and material requests.\nMeasures and cuts cable/wire to fill production orders\nOperates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials onto and off vehicles for transport.\nTransport material or supplies to other departments.\nDeliver and pick-up material, as required.\nKeeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.\nDetermine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.\nStore articles in bins, on floor or shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.\nMaintain record of all materials issued.\nCycle counts - Weekly\nReview monthly report to maintain limited shelf-life material.\nClose out and sign off on completed work orders.\nFollow Safety Policies and Procedures.\nPerform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.\nEnsure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nN/A\nAS9100/ISO SPECIFIC DUTIES\nBe familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.\nUnderstand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.\nComplete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.\nParticipate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate (including Strategic Planning, AIM, Suggestion box, etc.).\nParticipate in AS9100/ISO training as required.\nCooperate with Auditors.\nReport any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma or General Education Degree; or 1 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or combination.\nValid driver’s license and safe driving record.\nPrevious stock or inventory experience a plus.\nPrevious experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plus.\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\nValid Texas Driver’s License\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nEmployee is frequently required to stand, stoop, sit, kneel, walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nNoise level in the work environment is usually moderate.\nExtended work hours and/or travel may occasionally be required.\nwww.Atec.com Equal Opportunity Employer.
