The international business community is taking notice of this unique approach: in 2021 alone, Athena Infonomics was recognized on The Financial Times, Nikkei Asia, and Statista's High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2021 and 2022 ranking, and was selected as one of The Economic Times and Statista's 2021, 2022 and 2023 India Growth Champions.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport transcription and translation of qualitative interview/FGD recordings\nAssist in reviewing and cleaning quantitative data collected through digital survey tools, flagging inconsistencies or errors for the research team\nSupport formatting and organisation of datasets in Excel (data sorting, basic cleaning, pivot tables, summary sheets)\nAssist in preparing presentations and summary decks in PowerPoint for internal updates or stakeholder sharing\nDraft and maintain documentation in Word, including meeting notes, field visit summaries, and tracker updates\nSupport day-to-day coordination with field teams/enumerators - scheduling, follow-ups, and resolving field-level queries\n Maintain trackers for data collection progress, fieldwork status, and transcription/translation pipeline\nSupport desk review and literature review tasks as required by the research team\nKey requirements:\nMust be able to speak and understand Odia (essential)\nAbility to read and write Odia is preferred, though not mandatory\nProficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word\nComfort with digital data collection tools (e.g., SurveyCTO, Google Forms, Kobo) is a plus, though not mandatory\nSupporting transcription and translation of qualitative interviews/FGDs (Odia to English)\nAssisting with data review, cleaning, and quality checks on quantitative tool outputs\nSupporting coordination with field teams/enumerators as needed\nBasic documentation support (meeting notes, trackers, literature/desk review)\nAthena's Work Culture\nAt Athena, we function in an outcomes-based work environment with flexible hours and a high level of autonomy.
