Qualified candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for Fall term 2027.\nThe Reporting and Analytics team supports Insurance Operations by developing dashboards, reports, and data-driven insights that help leaders understand performance and make informed decisions. This internship offers hands-on experience in operational reporting, data analysis, data validation, and business intelligence tools. The intern will partner with reporting analysts and operational teams while gaining exposure to the processes and data that support Insurance Operations.\nKey Deliverables:\nCreate, update, and validate recurring operational reports and dashboards using Tableau, TIMBR, Business Objects, and other reporting tools.\nGather and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvement.\nPerform data-quality reviews and support ad hoc requests to ensure reporting is accurate, complete, and reliable.\nPartner with reporting analysts and business teams to understand processes, reporting needs, and business requirements.\nMaintain clear documentation for reports, processes, data sources, and project deliverables.\nComplete an assigned analytical project and present findings and recommendations to team members and leadership.\nWhat You Need to Bring:\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with close attention to data accuracy.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; exposure to SQL, Tableau, or other data-visualization tools is a plus.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present information and insights.\nAbility to organize priorities, meet deadlines, adapt to changing needs, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.\nCurious and proactive, with a willingness to learn new tools and processes, explore AI-enabled solutions, ask questions, and take ownership of assigned work.\nDevelopment Opportunities\nGain hands-on experience in operational reporting, business intelligence, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making.\nBuild technical skills in Excel, Tableau, SQL, data validation, visualization, and emerging AI-enabled reporting capabilities.\nDevelop an understanding of insurance operations, business processes, performance metrics, and how reporting supports business outcomes.\nStrengthen communication, documentation, project-management, and presentation skills through meaningful project work.\nPartner with experienced analysts, operational leaders, and cross-functional teams while building professional relationships across Athene.\nContribute ideas and recommendations that improve reporting, processes, and systems in Athene’s fast-paced, innovative environment, supported by the scale and capabilities of its Apollo partnership.\n\nDrive.
