You will blend deep hands-on expertise with technical leadership to guide the team in building a system that is scalable, reliable, and continuously evolving.\n\nResponsibilities:\nLead end-to-end technical design and architectural decisions for the VDP, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and performant.\nMaintain a deep, hands-on understanding of core technologies including Java, Kafka, SQL, Redis, and MongoDB.\nServe as the primary technical liaison between the VDP team and consuming teams such as App Development, BI, and Cloud Infrastructure.\nPartner with Product Management to refine requirements and ensure technical solutions align with the product vision and business needs.\nDefine the technical roadmap, strategic goals, and execution themes for Program Increments while leading sprint planning.\nDrive the development of robust backend services and RESTful APIs while enforcing best practices for code quality and testing.\nProvide day-to-day technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.\nAct as the primary technical escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving critical production incidents and driving root cause analysis.\n\nExperience And Qualifications:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.\n4 to 7 years of relevant programming and software development experience, focusing on cloud-native and data-intensive applications.\n\nMust Have Competencies:\nDemonstrate proven, hands-on development expertise in the Java ecosystem (Core Java, Spring Boot) or equivalent modern backend languages.\nPossess mastery in designing, developing, and deploying high-throughput, event-driven, and streaming systems using Kafka or RabbitMQ.\nExhibit strong experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and managing diverse SQL and NoSQL databases.\nApply demonstrable ability to lead end-to-end design decisions, define technical strategy, and mentor a team of developers.\n\nGood To Have Competencies:\nUtilize strong experience with a major public cloud provider, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nDemonstrate expertise in defining and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Devtron.\nApply experience with code instrumentation for system monitoring, logging, and tracing to ensure
