This hands-on position performs a variety of repair, maintenance, and facility support tasks. The role supports approximately 82 clinics within a 90-minute driving radius and serves as the primary resource for routine maintenance, repairs, equipment assembly, furniture moves, and general facility upkeep.\nWork Schedule:\nThis position is expected to work approximately 30 hours per week initially. Business needs may result in future adjustments to scheduled hours, including the potential for the position to become full-time.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nTravel to clinic locations to perform routine maintenance and repair work.\nManage assigned maintenance tickets through Athletico’s facilities ticketing system and ensure timely completion of work.\nReplace light bulbs, ballasts, exit signs, and emergency lighting.\nReplace ceiling tiles and perform minor drywall patching and painting.\nPerform minor plumbing repairs and adjustments.\nRepair interior doors, locks, hardware, and related fixtures.\nClean ceiling return vents and perform general facility upkeep.\nRepair or adjust window blinds, shades, and other clinic fixtures.\nAssemble, repair, adjust, and relocate treatment tables and clinic equipment.\nAssemble hi-low treatment tables and other therapy equipment.\nAssist clinics with moving furniture, supplies, and equipment.\nHang signs, artwork, bulletin boards, and other wall-mounted items where specialized structural support is not required.\nMaintain inventory of maintenance tools, supplies, and materials and request replenishment as needed.\nDocument completed work orders through written updates and before-and-after photographs.\nAssist with clinic openings, relocations, refreshes, and special projects.\nPerform other duties as required.\nQualifications:\nEducation:High School Diploma or GED required.\n\nWork Experience:Three (3) or more years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, handyman services, construction, property management, or a related field.\nExperience working independently and managing multiple work assignments preferred.\n\nCertification/Licensure:Valid Driver's License required.\n\nKnowledge and Technical Skills:Working knowledge of general maintenance practices, including basic electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and equipment assembly.\nDemonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work independently with limited supervision.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with clinic staff and management.\nAbility to use mobile technology to manage work orders, submit photos, and track mileage.\nAbility to work with Microsoft Office and Outlook.\n\nVehicle Requirements:\nMust possess and maintain a reliable personal truck, van, or similar vehicle capable of transporting tools, maintenance supplies, and equipment.\nMust be willing to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.\nAthletico will provide necessary start-up tools and supplies.\nBusiness travel will be reimbursed at the IRS standard mileage reimbursement rate in accordance with Athletico policy.\nLanguage Skills:\nAbility to read, write and speak English proficiently.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands and work environment describe here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
