You will work closely with Development, Product, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive quality coverage throughout the software delivery lifecycle. This is a hands-on role combining manual testing, automation, API testing, technical investigation, and release support. You will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to other QA Engineers while helping continuously improve our testing practices and product quality.\nHow You Will Succeed\nOwn QA execution for your implementation team, ensuring comprehensive testing and high-quality product releases.\nDesign, develop, maintain, and improve UI automation using C#, Selenium, and xUnit.\nPerform API testing using Postman and Newman, ensuring reliable integration and service-level coverage.\nConduct manual, functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing across web applications, microservices, databases, and Azure/Microsoft Function Apps.\nParticipate in sprint planning, refinement, and other Agile ceremonies to identify risks and improve testability early in the development lifecycle.\nInvestigate complex defects and production issues using SQL, application logs, browser developer tools, and other diagnostic techniques.\nCreate and maintain test cases, test scenarios, regression suites, and QA documentation in Azure DevOps.\nSupport deployment and release activities, including pre-release regression and post-release validation.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to QA Engineers within the team.\nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve QA processes, automation coverage, testing efficiency, and overall product quality.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n7+ years of experience in software testing/QA, with strong experience working in Agile development environments.\nStrong hands-on experience in test automation, including designing and maintaining automation frameworks.\nAdvanced or strong working knowledge of C#, with experience writing automated tests.\nHands-on experience with Selenium and xUnit or similar automation/testing frameworks.\nExperience with API testing, preferably using Postman and Newman.\nStrong working knowledge of SQL/MSSQL for data validation and defect investigation.\nExperience with Azure DevOps, including Boards, test management, defect tracking, and QA documentation.\nGood understanding of Git and version-control practices.\nExperience working with Microsoft Azure or other cloud technologies.\nUnderstanding of DOM structure, browser developer tools, and web application testing.\nExperience with scripting, preferably PowerShell.\nAbility to read and debug application logs and investigate complex technical issues.\nStrong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.\nUnderstanding of black-box and white-box testing techniques, web testing heuristics, and test case design.\nUnderstanding of Agile methodologies and exposure to TDD/shift-left testing practices.\nStrong written and spoken English communication skills.\nAbility to work UK business hours.\nExperience in e-commerce, SaaS, marketing technology, or high-volume data platforms is highly desirable.\nDegree, diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience with Visio, Lucidchart, or similar workflow/diagramming tools is an advantage.\nBenefits and Company Perks\n24 PTOs in a calendar year\nCompany-paid Health Insurance\nCompany-paid Short Term and Long Term Disability coverage\nCompany-paid Accidental Insurance\nCompany-paid Learning & Development (L&D) programmes\nFlexible work environment - work from home, office, or hybrid\nCollaborative and innovation-driven work culture\nOpportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-powered ecommerce technology\nAthos Commerce is an equal-opportunity employer and proud to foster a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
