We're hiring high performers as proven as our products. Join us.\nWe are currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician to work in our 34th Avenue Albany, OR Operations facility. This is a night-shift role, working Tuesday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Specific days may vary to support operational and business needs. Relocation assistance will be available to the ideal candidate.\nThere will be plenty of day-to-day work variety in this position. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot, maintain, test and repair electrically powered or controlled electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic machines, systems and components. You will also work on equipment which may include PLCs, AC and DC motors and generators, SCR's, VFD's, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches, lighting equipment, power distribution and control circuits, conduits, and fittings.\nA successful Journeyman will be a self-starter and be self-motivated. This role is instrumental in providing maintenance, repair, and support to each department so they can meet production goals, objectives and customer expectations. To accomplish this, you'll work collaboratively with Operations and all departments across the plant, to provide expertise on a variety of work orders.\nResponsibilities:\nRead electrical schematics and PLC ladder logic diagrams to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.\nAbility to troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and controls; ability to read and understand relay, ladder logic, and schematic diagrams.\nPossess good computer skills and knowledge of networking principles in order to communicate with equipment controllers.\nFollow written instructions to perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks. Working knowledge of safe electrical work practices, including requirements of NFPA 70E.\nUse various test equipment and hand tools including, but not limited to, electrical test instruments, computers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, high voltage test equipment, power hand drills, grinders, drill and cutting press welding equipment, pipe threading machine, soldering equipment, pipe benders, safety equipment, and miscellaneous hand tools.\nWork on equipment which may include PLCs, AC and DC motors and generators, SCR's, VFD's, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches, lighting equipment.\nBasic Qualifications\nA minimum of 4 years of electrician work experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or processing industries with a specialty in 3 phase, 480V power distribution system.\nRequires one of the following Electrical Licenses:\nGeneral Journeyman (J)\nLimited Supervising Electrician (PS)\nLimited Journeyman Manufactured Plant (PJ)\nGeneral Supervising Electrician (S)\nPreferences\nPrior experience with computerized maintenance management systems; knowledge of National Electrical Codes; knowledge of electronics, vacuum technology, hydraulics, mechanics, and pneumatics.\nAbility to troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and controls; ability to read and understand relay, ladder logic, and schematic diagrams.\nMust have experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems and must have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nCompetitive wage and benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.\nHourly pay rate: $50.93 Hour\nWethrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
