As a Senior BI Analyst, you will work with project teams, business stakeholders and technology specialists to develop and improve business intelligence solutions for the Major Projects Sector.\nYou do not need to have experience with every technology listed below. We are looking for someone with a solid BI foundation, strong analytical skills and an interest in learning and growing with the team.\nYour role\nWork with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into practical BI solutions.\n\nDesign data models, reports and dashboards that transform raw data into meaningful information.\n\nDevelop and optimize SQL queries, data transformation processes and reporting solutions.\n\nContribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of Power BI solutions.\n\nSupport the quality, integrity and reliability of data used for reporting and analysis.\n\nParticipate in solution testing and deployment, from development through production.\n\nCollaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers and business owners.\n\nRecommend practical improvements to existing dashboards, reporting methods and BI practices.\n\nHelp automate recurring business and reporting processes where appropriate.\n\nAbout you\nA bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\n\nPractical experience developing business intelligence, reporting or data analytics solutions.\n\nExperience using Power BI, including data modelling, Power Query and DAX.\n\nThe following experience would help you succeed in the role, but candidates with comparable or transferable experience are encouraged to apply:\nExperience designing, developing or maintaining BI reports, data models or data warehouse solutions.\n\nExperience working with data from multiple sources, such as databases, files, spreadsheets, SharePoint, enterprise applications or cloud platforms.\n\nExperience supporting solutions from development through production.\n\nExperience with one or more of the following would be an asset; expertise across the full list is not expected:\nMicrosoft Power Automate for workflow or business-process automation.\n\nREST APIs and Web services, including authentication, JSON, endpoints, pagination and error handling.\n\nPython for data preparation, automation or analytics.\n\nPower BI Dataflows.\n\nMicrosoft SQL Server.\n\nMicrosoft Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage or Azure Functions.\n\nMicrosoft Fabric or Databricks.\n\nSharePoint and enterprise application integration.\n\nOther cloud data and analytics platforms.\n\nData warehouse design or advanced data integration patterns.\n\nWorking knowledge of SQL and relational databases.\n\nUnderstanding of data quality, governance, security and access-management practices.\n\nFamiliarity with ETL or data integration processes.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to communicate in both French and English when supporting stakeholders in both languages.
