Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Architectural Intern to join our Alexandria, VA office.

Your Role

• Support all phases of projects, from schematic design through construction administration.
• Assist with the development of graphics for presentations and reports.
• Provide AutoCAD and Revit support by incorporating redline markups into construction documents.
• Conduct occasional site visits to assess existing facilities and support new project development.
• Perform project-related research to support design decisions and finish material selections.
• Assist with construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, project filing, and document organization.

About You

• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an accredited Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 20 hours towards an architecture degree from an accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• SPECIAL SKILLS Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases, REVIT Modeling , clash detection and Rhino experience highly desirable.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $19 - $25 hourlydepending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
