The role ensures that all works are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, contract requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.\nYour role\nConstruction Supervision\nAssist the Resident Engineer in managing the supervision of overground metro station construction works.\nMonitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.\nSupervise station-related civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works during all phases of construction.\nReview construction methodologies and ensure adherence to approved work procedures.\nCoordinate site inspections and verify that works are completed according to contractual requirements.\nQuality Assurance & Control\nEnsure implementation of project Quality Management Systems and inspection procedures.\nReview and witness inspections, testing activities, and material approvals.\nMonitor NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), corrective actions, and close-out processes.\nVerify compliance with applicable international standards, local regulations, and client requirements.\nHealth, Safety & Environment (HSE)\nPromote a strong safety culture across the project site.\nEnsure compliance with project HSE plans, permit-to-work systems, and Dubai/UAE regulations.\nParticipate in site safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.\nMonitor contractor implementation of environmental and sustainability requirements.\nInterface & Coordination\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, architecture, MEP, systems, track, utilities, roads, and traffic specialists.\nSupport management of interfaces between station works and adjacent infrastructure packages.\nLiaise with contractors, stakeholders, utility authorities, and client representatives to resolve site issues effectively.\nParticipate in technical and progress meetings.\nContract Administration\nAssist in reviewing contractor submissions including shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, material submittals, and work inspection requests.\nSupport verification of completed works for progress measurements and payment applications.\nMonitor variations, claims, and contractual compliance issues and provide recommendations to the Resident Engineer.\nTesting & Commissioning\nSupport testing and commissioning activities related to station systems and building services.\nVerify readiness of station assets for integrated testing and operational handover.\nParticipate in snagging, de-snagging, and final acceptance inspections.\nReporting\nPrepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.\nMaintain records of inspections, technical issues, site instructions, and construction activities.\nHighlight risks, delays, quality concerns, and mitigation measures to the Resident Engineer.\nAbout you\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.\nProfessional Engineering certification is preferred.\nExperience\nMinimum 15+ years of overall experience in construction supervision and project delivery.\nAt least 5 years of experience on metro, rail, transit, or major transportation infrastructure projects.\nProven experience supervising elevated or overground station construction works.\nGCC/UAE experience is highly preferred.\nPrevious experience with PMC/Engineer/Consultant organizations is desirable.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of station structures, architectural finishes, and MEP integration.\nGood understanding of rail project interfaces and operational requirements.\nKnowledge of FIDIC contract conditions.\nFamiliarity with testing, commissioning, and handover processes.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career.\nThis includes:\nTax-free salary.\nLife insurance coverage.\nMedical insurance.\nAnnual leave balance.\nCompany gratuity scheme.\nDiscretionary bonus program.\nAnnual flight contribution.\nTransportation & housing allowances.\nEmployee Wellbeing Program: 24/7 access to specialists in finance, legal matters, family care, personal health, fitness, and nutrition.\nSeize every opportunity to sharpen your skills, expand your expertise, and be recognized for the impact you make.\nAbout AtkinsRéalis\nWe're AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization.
