ND/2024/07 and ND/2024/08). The works comprise site formation of lands and ground investigation within Fanling North New Development Area (FLN NDA), construction of at-grade roads connecting FLN NDA to Fanling Highway and associated junction/road improvements, construction of Fanling Bypass Western Section, construction of noise barriers and low noise road surfacing, and ancillary works including vehicular bridges, footbridges, footpaths, cycle tracks, lighting, traffic aids, sewage pumping stations, drainage, stormwater storage tank, sewerage, water mains, landscaping works, slope works and electrical and mechanical works. The first contract, Contract No. ND/2024/07, and the second contract, Contract No. ND/2024/08, commenced in August 2024 and December 2025 respectively.\nYour role\nProvision of professional assistance to RSS at professional ranks or above in the delivery of their duties of the representative or delegate of the Project Manager, Supervisor, Engineer, Architect, Surveyor, and/or Supervising Officer as appropriate under works contracts as assigned by the Consultants*/Consultant*\nProvision of professional assistance to RSS at professional ranks or above in the delivery of all their other assigned duties related to works contracts and the project\nCollaboration with other RSS ranks for delivery of works contracts and the project in safe, efficient and cost effective manner with good quality\nOther duties related to this consultancy, works contracts or the project as may be assigned by the head of the RSS team, their supervisors, RSS at professional ranks or above or the Consultants*/Consultant* from time to time\nAbout you\nAssistant Resident Engineer (E&M) (Ref No.: FLN_ARE(E&M))\nCandidates should have:\nBachelor Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline, with formal training pre-approved by appropriate professional institute / institute and 2 years’ of relevant post qualification experience; or\nBachelor Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline, with at least 4 years’ post-academic qualification experience in professional field, and 4 years’ of relevant experience.\nRemark\nApplicants may also consider to refer the other requirement of the above opening(s) stipulated in Appendix 7.4 of \"Management Handbook for Direct Employment of ResidentSite Staff by Consultants for Public Works Projects\" from the webpage of Development Bureau.\nThe candidates should have minimum academic/ professional qualification requirements of the above posts.\nFor RWSI and RWSII, a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary 3 standard or above shall be attained unless otherwise recommended by the Consultant and accepted by the managing department for special cases with justifications recommended by the Consultant.\nAppointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing Government’s conditions and terms applicable for Resident Site Staff.
