AtkinsRéalis is dedicated in engineering a better future for our planet and its people.\nYour role\nCoordinate the integration of discipline-specific BIM models into project federated models while ensuring alignment with project standards and established workflows.\n\nDevelop and maintain internal workflows for assembling, managing, and tracking BIM model versions within enterprise document management systems (e.g., ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud, SharePoint).\n\nIdentify inconsistencies or conflicts within federated models and communicate issues to design teams for timely resolution.\n\nUpdate BIM models, associated metadata, and digital assets to the latest approved software versions used by the organization.\n\nPrepare, maintain, and organize coordination files, technical documentation, and model records in accordance with BEP requirements, ISO 19650 principles, and project standards.\n\nRespond to requests for drawings, reports, model extracts, and technical materials required by design, engineering, and construction teams.\n\nCollaborate with internal and external project stakeholders to develop and document workflows, naming conventions, turnover procedures, and filing structures for technical records (O&M manuals, studies, CAD/GIS/BIM data, drawings, inventories, etc.).\n\nOrganize and facilitate BIM coordination reviews, technical meetings, and workshops, documenting issues and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.\n\nReview BIM models and produce views, sections, and details with appropriate location, scope, and Level of Detail.\n\nSupport the receipt, archiving, and maintenance of digital and physical technical documentation, drawings, BIM/CAD/GIS datasets, manuals, and reports.\n\nPrepare transmittal records, NDAs, and documentation packages for external distribution.\n\nMaintain classification and attribution systems for documents, drawings, models, and datasets within document management platforms.\n\nContribute to periodic updates of BIM, CAD, GIS, and technical standards; recommend improvements aligned with evolving technologies and industry best practices.\n\nParticipate in implementing BEP requirements and enhancing modeling and coordination workflows.\n\nProvide training, guidance, mentoring, and support on BIM and document control standards to internal team members.\n\nSupport the professional development of staff working with BIM and digital project delivery processes.\n\nAbout you\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, computer science, or a related field.\n\nProfessional designation or BIM certification is considered an asset.\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience working with technical construction drawings and/or documents, including experience as a BIM Specialist or BIM Coordinator.\n\nExperience in infrastructure, transportation, rail, or general construction projects is preferred.\n\nStrong proficiency with BIM authoring tools, preferably Autodesk Revit, with experience managing federated models and performing clash detection.\n\nDemonstrable experience with enterprise-grade document and construction management systems such as:\nBentley ProjectWise\n\nAutodesk Construction Cloud\n\nSharePoint\n\nExperience with CAD and GIS technologies including:\nBentley MicroStation\n\nOpenRoads Designer\n\nESRI ArcGIS\n\nKnowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650), LOD frameworks, BEP implementation, and collaborative project delivery processes.\n\nAbility to organize, classify, document, and maintain coordination files and technical records.\n\nFamiliarity with standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).\n\nScripting experience (Dynamo, Python) considered an asset.\n\nLanguages:\nEnglish required (spoken and written).\n\nFrench is an asset but not mandatory.\n\nPersonal Qualities:\nStrong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\nExcellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset.\n\nProactive, adaptable, and capable of improving workflows and documentation processes.\n\nCollaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments.\n\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.\nEnjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.\nMake the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.\nAnd take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.\nBe rewarded.
