This role is ideal for a candidate with extensive experience in Siemens PLC programming and Siemens SCADA programming.\nYour role\nLead and mentor a team of junior engineers in Siemens PLC custom programming for specialized engineered tooling.\nOversee programming and engineering work following internal and client procedures, QA programs, and applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.\nPerform programming troubleshooting and testing activities.\nIntegrate software and hardware components and review/approve software engineering documents such as test procedures, test reports, operation manuals, etc.\nCoordinate and interface with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders to execute assigned engineering work.\nProvide prompt response and engineering resolutions on any critical engineering-related matters.\nAbout you\nEngineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent degree as recognized by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).\nRegistered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the Province of Ontario and member in good standing.\n15+ years of relevant design, implementation, or construction support experience (experience with greenfield construction and/or the nuclear industry is an asset).\nExperience with Siemens PLC programming including Step 7, S7-SCL, S7-GRAPH, S7-Starter, SIMATIC NET, WinCC Flexible, and S7 Distributed Safety.\nExperience in Siemens SCADA programming, specifically WinCC Classic.\nExperience with Siemens PROFIBUS and PROFINET.\nExperience executing projects that are subject to import/export controls.\nPELCO experience (Endura Certified System Technician is an asset).\nExcellent organizational and effective problem-solving skills.\nWillingness to travel to project sites to meet corporate needs.\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.\nEnjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.\nMake the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.\nAnd take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.\nBe rewarded.
