The successful candidate will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, optimizing data storage and processing, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires expertise in Azure data services, ETL/ELT processes, database technologies, and cloud-based data architectures.\nYour role\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions on Azure. Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.\nManage and enhance data lakes, data warehouses, and data storage solutions. Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and database objects for performance and scalability.\nEnsure data quality, security, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.\nImplement CI/CD practices and support deployment automation using Azure DevOps.\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data platform and pipeline issues.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to deliver data-driven solutions.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and operational procedures.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of Azure data technologies.\nAbout you\nTechnical Skills\nStrong experience with:\nAzure Data Factory (ADF).\nAzure Databricks.\nAzure Synapse Analytics.\nAzure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).\nAzure SQL Database and SQL Server.\nMicrosoft Fabric (preferred).\nAdvanced SQL development and performance tuning skills.\nExperience with Python, PySpark, or Scala for data processing.\nKnowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.\nUnderstanding cloud architecture and distributed data processing.\nData Management\nExperience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration patterns.\nKnowledge of data quality, data governance, and metadata management.\nFamiliarity with big data technologies and streaming solutions is advantageous.\nExperience & Education\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience in Data Engineering, Database Development, or Data Integration.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services.\nPreferred\nMicrosoft certifications such as:\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)\nMicrosoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)\nAzure Database Administrator Associate\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career.
