We are proud to be the steward of Canadian CANDU nuclear technology.\nThe Data & Integration Developer, reporting directly to the Director, AI & Automation, will be responsible for developing and supporting system integrations and helping establish the organization’s enterprise data platform. The role will work with business and technology stakeholders to connect applications, improve the movement and quality of data, and make trusted information available for reporting, analytics, automation and AI initiatives.\nYour role\nDesign, configure, test, deploy and support integrations between enterprise applications, databases and data sources using platforms such as DataBridge Pro and Microsoft Azure Logic Apps. \nDevelop and maintain integration workflows using APIs, database connections, messaging, secure file transfer and other appropriate integration patterns. \nBuild data transformation, validation, routing, reconciliation and error-handling processes to support reliable information exchange between systems. \nAssist in establishing and evolving an enterprise data warehouse and data platform that consolidates information from business, engineering and operational systems. \nDevelop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, curated datasets and data models for reporting, analytics, automation and AI use cases. \nWork with business stakeholders, application owners and technical teams to define interface, data and reporting requirements. \nAnalyze source-system data structures, business rules and data quality issues, and recommend practical solutions. \nApply appropriate security, access, governance, data quality, lineage and retention requirements to integration and data solutions. \nMonitor production integrations and data pipelines, investigate failures, resolve defects and support ongoing operational reliability. \nPrepare and maintain solution documentation, including interface specifications, data mappings, architecture diagrams, operating procedures and support runbooks. \nParticipate in solution testing, deployment planning, change management and the transition of new capabilities into operation. \nContribute to reusable integration patterns, technical standards and continuous improvement of the organization’s data and integration practices. \nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned. \nAbout you\nUniversity Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. \n5+ years of experience developing and supporting system integrations, data pipelines, enterprise applications or data platforms. \nDemonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting production integrations using an enterprise integration platform such as Microsoft Azure Logic Apps, DataBridge Pro, Apache NiFi, or a comparable technology. \nStrong experience working with REST APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, relational databases and secure file-based integrations. \nPractical experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines, data models and data warehouse or modern data platform solutions. \nExperience with Microsoft Azure data services, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Power BI or comparable technologies is preferred. \nExperience with source control, testing, deployment pipelines, monitoring and technical documentation is an asset. \nKnowledge of authentication, authorization, service accounts, certificates and secure system-to-system connectivity. \nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational and interpersonal skills. \nExcellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders. \nUnderstanding of engineering design processes and an appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs in the nuclear industry; nuclear industry experience is an asset. \nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.\nEnjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.\nMake the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.\nAnd take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.\nBe rewarded.
