If you have a passion for engineering and want to understand where a career with Atkins might lead then we would like to hear from you.\nYour role\nUndertake Design following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.\nPrepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.\nSuccessfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.\nWork closely with teams in the Canada and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.\nAdhere to quality assurance standards in design.\nAbout you\nBachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering from an institute of repute.\n5+ years of experience in the Drainage and utilities.\nWet utilities design (storm, foul water, Potable water and TSE) for Canada, UK, Ireland Middle East and other regions.\nCanada Work experience desired.\nFamiliarization of Canadian Standards.\nExperience of major Infrastructure projects at Master plan, Concept and Detailed Design stages.\nHands on experience of various software’s like PCSWMM, HECRAS, Infoworks,etc. Working knowledge of BIM platforms like Civil3D, Microstation and Open Roads.\nClear knowledge of work procedures, and ability to brief project team.\nPositive Attitude and eagerness to learn and use new water related design software’s, tools and processes for automation and digital efficiency as per the project and business requirement.\nAbility to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients.\nA team player and work in collaboration.\nWorking towards chartership (PE, ICE, CIWEM or equivalent).\nAble to work independently to deliver work, as well as part of a team.\nTake accountability and responsibility for work carried out by the individual or the team.\nWork well with and form relationships with others, including the client team, other disciplines, and contractors at all levels (junior - senior) inside and outside the business.\nFlexible attitude to the type of work undertaken, level of responsibility given, and work location.\nHave experience coordinating with other disciplines in multi-discipline projects.\nStrong communication skills, independent working, presenting, and influencing skills.\nInformation Management platforms (ACC, BIM360, etc.).\nWhy work for AtkinsRéalis?\nWe at AtkinsRéalis are committed to developing its people both personally and professionally.
