We are hiring for an Environmental Planner to join our growing team. This role will support the successful delivery of complex projects within the organization, ensuring that they are executed according to scope, schedule, cost, quality standards, and risk management protocols. The program requires a wealth of experience in managing large infrastructure projects, particularly in the context of international airport development or other similar complex programs.\nLocation - Toronto, ON\nYour role\nCollaborates with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate/manage environmental risks associated with the project(Long-term Investment in Facilities and Terminals) program.\n\nConsults in conjunction with Environmental Services with appropriate agencies regarding environmental plans and monitors regulations that affect the projectprogram.\n\nConducts environmental reviews of Facility Alteration Permit (FAP) related to the program in conjunction with Environmental Services to ensure compliance with environmental requirements and standards.\n\nReviews & tracks progress with respect to program related environmental aspects and mitigations and provides Management level reporting to highlight trends and make recommendations to support effective decision-making.\n\nCoaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of staff.\n\nAbout you\nTypically, over 5 years’ experience, with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a relevant role in the environmental planning sector within the construction/development sector.\n\nExperience of monitoring, tracking and delivering environmental aspects in the infrastructure/development sector.
