Overview
Are you passionate about people, processes, and delivering exceptional employee support? Candu Energy Inc., an AtkinsRéalis company, is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our Nuclear Canada Human Resources team. In this role, you will provide high-quality HR administration and employee support while working closely with HR Business Partners, employees, managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless employee experience.
Your Role
- Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, timesheets, leaves, and vacation inquiries.
- Support managers and employees by delivering accurate Human Resources information and administrative assistance.
- Administer employment verification letters and employee documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate employee status changes and maintain accurate records within Workday and assignment management systems.
- Assist with Workday transactions related to leaves, organizational changes, payments, and data corrections.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, HR Shared Services, and other stakeholders to resolve employee and system-related issues.
- Compile employee data, generate reports, and support audits and reporting requirements.
About You
- Post-secondary school education in Human Resources Management
- Minimum two years’ experience in an HR Coordinator or HR Generalits capacity
- CHRL Designation or working towards CHRL would be an asset.
- Microsoft Office Products
- Knowledge of HRIS systems (SAP is considered an asset)
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
- Team oriented
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to influence
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment
