AtkinsRéalis is a Canadian professional services and project management company created when the engineering firm SNC-Lavalin, founded in Montreal in 1911, acquired the British consultancy Atkins in 2017 and adopted the combined name in 2023. It designs and manages infrastructure programmes across transport, water, buildings, energy and defence, and holds a substantial nuclear business through Candu Energy that services and builds heavy water reactors. Headquartered in Montreal and listed in Toronto, the group employs tens of thousands of engineers, planners and consultants across Canada, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
