The role supports project planning and decision-making through cost modelling, economic analysis, lifecycle costing, benchmarking, and scenario evaluation.\nThe successful candidate will work within multidisciplinary teams and interact with stakeholders across Marketing & Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Management, Commercial, and Finance to support project evaluations and economic analyses. This position is suited to individuals with backgrounds in engineering, finance, economics, project finance, infrastructure advisory, valuation, project controls, or other analytical disciplines involving complex modelling and major capital projects.\nYour role\nCost Modelling & Economic Analysis:\nDevelop and maintain cost and economic models for project opportunities, change orders, strategic initiatives, and feasibility studies using labour, material, equipment, schedule, and indirect cost inputs provided by project teams.\nPerform Levelized Unit Energy Cost (LUEC) analyses and maintain lifecycle cost models, including capital, fuel cycle, operations and maintenance, retube, waste management, and decommissioning costs.\nMaintain model assumptions, calculations, documentation, and supporting methodologies to ensure consistency, transparency, and auditability.\nRepresent the Cost Estimating function throughout proposal development activities, including bid kick-off meetings, estimate development, governance reviews, and final proposal submissions to clients\nSupport continuous improvement of modelling tools, databases, templates, and analytical processes\nScenario Analysis & Model Development:\nConduct sensitivity, scenario, and uncertainty analyses to assess the impact of alternative assumptions and project inputs.\nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, validate, and integrate project assumptions and inputs into cost and economic models.\nOrganize and maintain project cost data, historical information, benchmarking datasets, and supporting databases.\nReview model inputs for consistency and identify data gaps.\nBenchmarking & Economic Assessment:\nConduct benchmarking analyses using internal historical data, industry databases, market information, and published studies.\nSupport economic evaluations of project alternatives, deployment strategies, and development scenarios.\nAnalyze economic trends and key cost drivers affecting project economics and lifecycle costs.\nGeneral:\nPrepare reports, presentations, and analytical summaries for management and project stakeholders.\nEnsure analytical deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.\nManage multiple assignments and priorities in a dynamic project environment.\nSupport special assignments and ad hoc analyses as required.\nAbout you\nUniversity degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related analytical discipline.
