For us, it is the experience, knowledge and, above all, your ability to fit in well with our existing team of ecologists, that really matters.\nYour role\nWorking individually but also, collaboratively, in a team environment.\nSupporting on ecological assessment and habitat design for a variety of development and nature recovery projects.\nSupporting to develop innovative and pragmatic approaches to ecological mitigation and compensation.\nCollaborating within multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with stakeholders / clients.\nDelivering clear and concise, high quality ecological deliverables in line with current guidance and good practice.\nAbout you\nA passion for ecology.\nA knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain legislation, policy and methods, the natural environment and wildlife legislation\nReport writing skills for typical ecological reporting (Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments or Biodiversity Net Gain).\nBeneficial to be competent in using GIS and/or other geospatial applications.\nAwareness of methodology in undertaking protected species surveys, mitigation and licensing.\nMotivated to take ownership and pride in work.\nMembership of CIEEM is desirable.\nFull driving licence is desirable.\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career.
