This role supports the execution of a wide variety of projects across the country by applying industry standard project management practices that are adapted to our organization's processes. Technical knowledge of mechanical systems, experience with proposal writing, and experience with consulting engineering are necessary for this role.\nOur Engineering Services team in Western Canada are located in Calgary, Winnipeg, and Vancouver. This is a dynamic and tight-knit group, servicing local projects while contributing to large national and international projects. Our projects are varied and span Healthcare, National Defense, Light + Heavy Industrial, Transportation (Rail + Transit, Ports + Marines +Tunnels), Municipal, Federal (including Defense + Nuclear), and Institutional industries.\nYour role\nDevelop and manage mechanical engineering design deliverables for assigned projects, including investigations, report writing, design and construction administration.\nSupport business development activities for the mechanical engineering group in Calgary.\nSupport developing, monitoring and maintaining project schedule and budget for mechanical engineering design deliverables.\nEnsure the quality and consistency, accuracy, and neatness of mechanical engineering and deliverables as part of corporate QA/QC program.\nPerform site investigations safely including travelling to site (including driving), walking around construction sites, carrying a ladder or other items (approximately 35lbs) around site and climbing ladder to access ceiling space, lowering self to observe mechanical services low to ground, and committing to safety regulations and requirements.\nParticipate in local and corporate industry initiatives to positively advance both technical and market developments.\nUse software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP, and Microsoft Office to prepare deliverables as required.\nAbout you\nUniversity Degree in Mechanical Engineering.\nRegistered as an Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer (P.
