The candidate will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting and execution support of tooling systems.\nAt this time, this solicitation is for the following position, which may be changed to meet project requirements.\nYour role\nTooling Technical Support:\nFamiliar with engineering drawings for nuclear tooling using SolidWorks.\nImplement tooling updates and modifications based on OPEX, design feedback, or lessons learned from previous units.\nSupport Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) by preparing technical inputs, implementing design revisions, and documenting impacts.\nTesting & Verification:\nDocument results, issues, and potential design improvements for future tool builds.\nHands-On Skills:\nMaintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures and policies.\nAssembly, repair and maintain nuclear retube equipment.\nCoordinate and complete multiple tasks.\nParticipate in equipment testing programs and troubleshooting mechanical systems.\nRequired to support material handling activities, and manual lifting of tooling & equipment.\nSupervisory responsibilities (if applicable) :\nCoordinate other technicians/trades on project deliverables.\nAbout you\nDiploma of Collegial studies in mechanical engineering technology, certificate of qualification from College of Trades and Apprenticeship or relevant technical experience.\nWorking experience between 8 to 10 years in mechanical assembly/testing/repair of nuclear inspection tooling and shop equipment.\nExperience with tooling repair, maintenance and operation.\nEnsure all engineering work complies with applicable Engineering and Quality Assurance procedures.\nMaintain up-to-date training and qualification records; ensure all required certifications and training are completed on time.\nKnowledge of pneumatics hydraulics and mechanical systems.\nKnowledgeable with mechanical parts obsolescence, and capable of sourcing replacements.\nOrganizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task/ Service orientated.\nDemonstrated ability to support complex and parallel technical projects.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.\nWilling to travel to and potentially work at Project sites to meet project needs.\nExcellent communication (both oral and written) skills.\nStrong Interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work hands-on with mechanical systems.\nPrepare route sheets, engineering documentation deliverables for various nuclear tooling.\nComplete prioritized work requests on time.\nOther aspects (if applicable): \nSecurity Clearance is a requirement for employment.
