AtkinsRéalis is a leading provider of consultancy services in the field of master planning, economics and sustainability; architecture environmental management; landscape & urban design; infrastructure planning; and engineering and transportation analysis, offering professional advice, engineering and environmental consultancy and design solutions.\nAs a provider of multi-disciplinary technical design services to the built environment, AtkinsRéalis India is committed to design excellence in the delivery of first-class solutions which combine innovation, imagination and best practice.\nYour Role\nUndertake Mechanical design to local and international standards, including ME, UK region.\nUnderstand and apply British / European, ME and Atkins standards.\nUndertake design of a variety of Mechanical design elements i.e. Air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing and firefighting designs.\nCarry out Mechanical calculations using Hevacomp, HAP, IES and other equivalent software.\nResponsible for completion of projects within his/her team to time and cost.\nAssist the Team leader/Senior Engineer in presenting design solutions in meeting with clients and contractors;\nCoordinate with all other disciplines and improve inter-discipline working with other disciplines such as Architecture, Civil and Structural.\nAbout You\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; Previous mechanical engineering or design role within consultancy.\nExperience in Revit and delivered projects using BIM skills.\nRelevant and appropriate experience of 1 to 4 years as a mechanical engineer within building services\nExperience of working in Multi-D environment and good understanding of co-ordination and interfaces with other disciplines. \nCompetent user of IT tools in particular Word, Excel, Outlook. \nExperience of computer-based design tools such as Hevacomp, HAP and IES etc would be preferred.\nWider knowledge of other disciplines is desirable; Able to deliver work and integrate with larger project teams.\nGood report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients.\nMandatory Requirements\nProactive and member of ASHARE or IMechE or CIBSE and working towards CEng / IEng status would be preferred.\nRelevant and appropriate experience as a designer within building services.\nYou will be able to design to CIBSE and ASHARE standards.
