And with a huge variety of projects to work on, you'll have plenty of opportunities to grow and challenge yourself as a consultant.\nWe welcome professionals from nuclear and / or high hazard industries -who are eager to apply their skills, learn quickly, and grow in a highly regulated, safety-focused environment.\nThis role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance.\nYour role\nThe role will entail supporting safety case development during the design, operation, commissioning, operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities and for the production of all nuclear safety documentation as part of the Site Licence Conditions.\nThe domain of the nuclear safety case production offers opportunities to thrive in the following skill sets.\nHazard/fault identification studies e.g., HAZOP, HAZID, HAZAN, FMEA, etc.\nQuantitative Risk Assessment (QRA).\nDeterministic safety assessments (DSA). A\nProbabilistic safety assessments (PSA).\nNuclear Safety case development and As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) assessment.\nOther key aspects of the role will include assisting in the production of bids and proposals and implementing and contributing to safety initiatives. You will also work within teams that liaise with operators, designers and clients, building a strong relationship with them.\nAbout you\nWe’re looking for a candidate with > 5 years of working experience in the nuclear safety case skill sets noted above.
