In this leadership role, you will help drive the growth, technical excellence, and project delivery capabilities of a nationally connected Process & Water practice recognized for innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.\nWorking with multidisciplinary teams across Canada, you will combine technical leadership, project delivery, talent development, and business growth while delivering high-value engineering solutions across industrial manufacturing, chemicals, energy transition, industrial infrastructure, municipal infrastructure, and water projects.\nYour Role\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of process engineers and specialists while fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, innovation, accountability, inclusion, and knowledge sharing.\nSupport recruitment, succession planning, resource planning, workload management, and talent development to ensure successful project delivery and continued practice growth in Ontario.\nServe as Process Lead, Discipline Lead, Technical Authority, and/or Project Manager on multidisciplinary engineering projects.\nProvide technical oversight throughout all project phases, including advisory services, studies, concept development, detailed design, implementation, commissioning support, and operational improvement.\nLead or review process engineering deliverables including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, design criteria, equipment sizing, process specifications, control narratives, and technical reports, while ensuring compliance with quality, schedule, budget, regulatory, and client requirements.\nGuide clients through complex technical challenges, risk-based decisions, option assessments, value improvement opportunities, and multidisciplinary design reviews, HAZOP workshops, operability reviews, constructability reviews, and value engineering sessions.\nBuild and strengthen client relationships, identify and pursue business opportunities, contribute to proposals and contract negotiations, represent AtkinsRéalis in industry forums, and support the strategic growth of the Process & Water practice across Ontario and Canada.\nAbout You\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.\nProfessional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) in Ontario, or eligibility to obtain registration with Professional Engineers Ontario.\nMinimum 15 years of relevant industrial engineering experience, including at least 5 years leading projects, technical teams, or engineering groups, with proven experience in an engineering consulting environment and multidisciplinary project delivery.\nStrong knowledge of industrial and/or municipal process design, engineering governance, quality management, and applicable Canadian and Ontario codes and standards, with demonstrated ability in resource planning, mentoring, recruitment, talent development, and team engagement.\nProficiency in client relationship management, proposal development, and business development, with excellent communication, facilitation, decision-making, leadership skills, and proficiency in English.\nRewards & benefits \nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.\nEnjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.\nMake the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.\nAnd take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.\nBe rewarded.
