This person will provide basic clerical support to team of professionals and managers. May function as a receptionist for department or office and be responsible for collecting, sorting and distributing mail to department or office personnel.\nYour role\nAnswers phones and transmits messages.\nFiles documents and correspondence.\nMakes photocopies and sends or receives e-mails, fax transmissions and other electronic communications.\nTypes labels, forms, letters, memos and other documents using personal computer and appropriate word processing software, as instructed.\nOpens, stamps and distributes mail and assists with U.S. mailings and FedEx packages.\nEnters data into electronic spreadsheets or databases.\nMaintains and distributes recurring internal reports.\nUpdates monthly office calendar as needed.\nMakes travel and meeting arrangements, as instructed.\nMay help out with business functions, e.g., planning and setting up room for meetings, luncheons, or presentations.\nMay order, distribute and store office supplies.\nMay be required to run errands or make deliveries outside of the office.\nPerforms such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary. \nAbout you\nHigh school diploma (or equivalent) plus one year related experience.\nGood command of English grammar and spelling. Good organizational skills. Typing skills.\nIntermediate knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel.\nAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form. Ability to process paper/electronic documents and operate computer keyboard.
