This is an entry-level position and is based out of Los Angeles, CA or San Diego, CA.\nYour Role\nSupport aviation program and construction management teams with day-to-day project controls, coordination, documentation, and reporting activities for airport capital projects.\nAssist with tracking project schedules, budgets, action items, meeting notes, submittals, RFIs, change items, and other project information using established tools and templates.\nHelp prepare project status reports, dashboards, presentation materials, meeting agendas, and follow-up summaries for internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.\nParticipate in coordination with project managers, construction managers, estimators, schedulers, designers, contractors, and airport stakeholders to support successful project delivery.\nAssist with document control activities, including organizing project files, maintaining logs, reviewing basic project records, and helping ensure information is accurate and up to date.\nSupport site or field-related activities, when appropriate, by observing construction progress, documenting field notes, and helping prepare follow-up items under the direction of experienced professionals.\nContribute to research, data collection, and analysis related to airport facilities, infrastructure programs, construction trends, project delivery, and client needs.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support the Aviation & Ports PMCM team and provide exposure to the full lifecycle of airport infrastructure delivery.\nAbout You\nEXPERIENCE:0-2 years of related internship, academic, volunteer, or work experience in construction management, engineering, architecture, planning, project controls, aviation, transportation, infrastructure, or a related technical field.\n\nEDUCATION:Completion of Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Planning or a related field from an accredited college/university\n\nSPECIAL SKILLS:Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nFamiliarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, PMWeb, Unifier, or other project management/project controls tools is preferred.\n\nPROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS:E.I.T., OSHA 10, CMIT, student membership in CMAA, ASCE, AAAE, or other related professional organizations is preferred but not required.\n\nRewards & benefits\nAt AtkinsRéalis, our values-Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence-are more than just words.
