You will join our growing Transportation business and will be based in our Dublin or Dundalk office. You should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, willing to take on responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team.\nYour role\nThe role will involve planning and design of road, asset management, public transport and active travel projects throughout Ireland, input to design development, procurement processes, preparation of contract documents, contract administration and construction supervision.\nThe role will involve providing support and design input to Key Clients in managing sections of the National Road Network.\nAbout you\nRelevant experience in a consultancy environment.\nEducated to degree level in engineering (Level 8/9).\nWorking towards Chartered Engineer status.\nComputer literate and with experience of relevant design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc desirable but not mandatory).\nKnowledge of relevant design standard and ability to translate this knowledge into practical, buildable and value for money designs.\nExperience in planning and design of transportation schemes (preferably in Ireland) including feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, statutory processes, preparation of contract documents, contact administration and construction supervision.\nAbility to oversee the production of designs and report writing.\nHave an understanding of Irish pavement standards and approvals procedures.\nExperience in pavement design and familiarity with the TII Irish Analytic Pavement Design Method (IAPDM).\nPersonal Qualities\nExcellent inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills.\nFlexible approach with ability to be able to multi-task and prioritise as required.\nPositive outlook and approachable manner.\nHighly motivated to achieve personal and company goals.\nHigh level of integrity and commitment to uphold organisational values.\nAble to work as part of a team or individually as required.\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career.
